I was tasked with developing the comprehensive design for an event in Barcelona, Spain. Together with the OpenMind design team based in Madrid, we organized and designed every custom piece for this wonderful event. This included venue signage, posters, procedure manuals, badges, and the most important part: the event website. The website not only featured the program and schedule but also provided useful information on how to get there and, crucially, integrated with the CRM for the registration of thousands of attendees. It was developed to be read in four languages.
The big challenge ...
For the website, we were asked to include a real-time countdown timer leading up to the event date. We utilized all our JavaScript knowledge to achieve this accurately and on time. The time was represented in colored circles that updated as it passed. Additionally, we handled the challenge of irregular section shapes entirely with custom CSS code.
